ZEZEL
innovation project

To The Point

challenge

The management of To The Point approached Red Zezel with a double question, namely
(1) how can we develop concrete innovative ideas for our business and
(2) how do we stimulate an innovative and creative mindset among our employees.

ZEZEL traject bij To The point

approach

To provide an answer to this double question, a ZEZEL innovation process was rolled out. This allowed us to focus on developing promising ideas for the business on the one hand and developing creative and innovative skills on the other hand.

At the start, an internal team of 12 employees was 'recruited' to participate in the ZEZEL innovation project. This innovation team was successfully guided through the ZEZEL method in a powerful and transformative process of 15 weeks.

five ZEZEL steps

  1. zoom: sharpen innovation focus
introduction to Foursight creative thinking profiles - create innovation focus and assessment criteria - creativity training

  2. explore: collecting inspiration
scenario planning - collecting customer friction - tapping inspiration from other sectors - scanning trends and technologies

  3. zap: generating ideas
generating wow ideas and zapping between different brainstorming techniques

  4. experiment: testing top ideas with target group
developing top ideas into concepts - prototyping - testing in the market

  5. launch: develop top ideas in business cases
develop top ideas in mini new business cases - pitch to management

  • “I have learned soo much in terms of creative thinking and brainstorming and how to maintain energy during such processes. Furthermore, I am happy that there was room to get out of my comfort zone.”

  • The working method and the result of how we came from brainstorming to the final ideas and then developing them was really great.”

  • The way you dealt with us was very nice. We were approached in a personal way and you were open to our input.”
